FAQs

Is Brother's Keeper International an organization?

No, Brother's Keeper International is an arts platform, home to stories of refugees and communities who welcome them. We use film, photography, writing, graphic design and social media to creatively portray firsthand accounts of refugees and the locals who walk alongside them as they rebuild their lives in new lands. The project is run by a group of volunteer artists, writers and students.

How is this project funded?

Money doesn’t grow on trees, and neither do stories. This is a not-for-profit arts initiative funded by thoughtful people just like you! Visit our Patreon page to donate.

I'm looking for a paid position...

So are we =)

Talitha (co-founder and curator of BKI) seeks out financing from partner non-profit organisations and visionary investors. When there are projects with paid freelance roles, you will find it posted on our BKI LinkedIn page.

Do you need volunteers?

Absolutely! We love collaboration. Previous volunteers have included college students, graphic designers, bloggers, photographers, teachers and entrepreneurs. Check out our Take Action page for more info.
